Earlier this week, Palmer River Elementary School proudly recognized several students nominated by staff as role models for March’s Monthly Mindset: Perseverance!

Each month, PRES staff nominate students who exemplify the featured mindset. Honorees receive an award and a token for “Inchy,” our book vending machine.

These students shine in the face of challenges. They work hard, give their best effort, and never give up. They are goal-oriented and are not afraid to make mistakes, showing us all what perseverance looks like in action.

We admire their determination and look forward to recognizing even more students next week!

The journey to becoming a Dighton-Rehoboth graduate starts in PreK and grows stronger each year! Our Falcon represents the pride and spirit of #WeAreDR and the values in our Portrait of a Graduate. Now our students and our community are helping to choose a name that reflects all that our Falcon stands for.

Stay tuned to vote on your favorite Falcon name!

The winning classroom will be presented with a special prize that celebrates what it means to be part of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Schools.

We had an amazing visit this morning at PRES with Jacob Wycoff from WBZ News! 🌤️ Students got a behind-the-scenes look at life as a TV meteorologist—learning how teleprompters and green screens work—and even picked up some local weather insights from an expert in the field. Thank you for an incredible visit, @4cast4you! Families—be sure to tune in live Saturday morning at 7am and 8am when Jacob Wycoff gives PRES a shoutout on air! 📺✨

Join us at Palmer River Elementary School for our Annual Kindergarten Information Night. This is your chance to get an inside look at everything kindergarten has to offer. We’ll walk you through our exciting curriculum and give you a glimpse into a typical day in the life of a Palmer River kindergarten student.

You’ll meet our amazing teachers, school nurse, and administration, explore the building, and get all the details about registration and scheduling your child’s June screening appointment.

Kindergarten is just around the corner, and this is the perfect first step. We’re excited to welcome our newest learners and their families!

Can’t make it? Don’t worry! All families who completed the town census this year will receive an information packet by mail from the school.

New to town? Reach out by phone at 508-252-5100 or email our Administrative Assistant Ms. Halajko at ahalajko@drregional.org — we’re happy to help!
