


Weβre excited to celebrate a school-wide Spirit Day at Palmer River Elementary School on Halloween β Friday, October 31st! Students are invited (but not required) to come to school in their Halloween costumes to help us celebrate this fun and festive day. Weβre looking forward to seeing all the creativity and school spirit!
To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please note the following guidelines:
-Costumes are optionalβstudents are welcome to participate, but they don't have to dress up.
-No masks may be worn during the school day.
-No weapons or weapon-like accessories (including toy swords, guns, or similar items) are allowed at school.
-Makeup should be applied at home before arriving at school and should not be brought for use or touch-ups during the
day.
-Costumes should allow students to comfortably participate in all regular school activities.
We look forward to a fun day of school spirit and creativity! Thank you for helping us make this a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.

In case you were wondering, thatβs 625 pumpkinsβone for every student! We are truly amazed by their kindness and generosity, and we are so grateful that they thought of our school community.

Weβre once again partnering with the Greater Attleboro Council for Children to help make the season brighter for Dighton and Rehoboth families through the Christmas is for Kids program.
Families who have participated before must apply by November 8, while new families have until November 22. Applications are available at every school and the Superintendentβs Office β or you can download one online.

Monday and Tuesday brought us our final September Monthly Mindset Winners for September! These students were recognized for consistently demonstrating our school-wide expectations: Being Responsible, Being Respectful, Being Safe, and Being Kind.
Congratulations to all of our winners! We are so proud of you and hope you enjoy your new books β youβve earned them! Each of you is helping to shape a positive school community, ignite kindness in others, and empower your classmates through your actions.

The Blizzard of Giving program is available to all Rehoboth residents in need of support during the holiday season.
This program is for parents or legal guardians with physical custody of children living in Rehoboth, MA.
It is intended for families who have no other means of providing gifts for their children.
Applications are accepted for children from newborns through high school (up to age 22 for those with special needs).
Children who attend college or have left school are not eligible for this program.

This is a friendly reminder that Wednesday, October 1, 2025, is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m. As a reminder, there is no afternoon PreK session on Early Release Days. While breakfast will be served, lunch will not be provided.

Snack sales will kick off with grades 3 and 4 on Friday, September 26th. Students in grades Kβ2 will also be able to purchase snacks later this fallβweβll share an update once that becomes available.
