IS YOUR CHILD READY TO LEARN EACH DAY? When you put your child on the bus each morning, are they ready for the busy day ahead of them ? Have they had a good night's sleep ? Breakfast ? Do they have sturdy shoes that will take them through an active recess on playground structures ? Are they dressed for the weather ? Do they have all their homework and school supplies in order ? Are they well and able to engage in their lessons ? All these things contribute dramatically to your child's success in school. Children crave structure and predictability, so smooth mornings at home help them get the most out of their school day from the moment they arrive at school to the moment they return home to you each day.
If your child needs medication at school, PLEASE do not send it with your child. It MUST be transported by an adult. This is for the safety of all the children on the bus and in the school, and helps prevent loss or damage to the medication. All medication must come in original packaging or pharmacy containers, and forms must be signed by a parent and a physician. Call the Health Room with any medication questions.
