Welcome! We are very excited about several on-going projects. Some of the highlights include:
- Standards-based report cards: We are very excited to be launching our elementary standards-based report cards. Please feel free to click on any of the grades above to see specific rubrics.
- Continual curriculum work: We have almost completed phase one (prioritizing benchmarks) for several of the content areas (these updates will be posted on the website throughout the year). We are very pleased with the community effort involved in this, and thank the teachers and parents that have been actively involved. We will be moving into phase two (assessments) during this year, and will post updates as they occur.
- Continual integration of technology: We are very excited about the interactive equipment and software that is being used across the district. Through grants, we have been able to purchase SmartBoards (interactive whiteboards), ELMOs (document cameras), Senteo Clickers (immediate response systems), digital cameras to capture student work, and much more.
